WHRB Web Streaming Help

Q: The online streaming player isn't working. What should I do?
A: First, make sure you have the latest version of flash player installed. During our most popular programs our streaming capacity can reach maximum capacity and the flash player will not respond. If flash is up to date and the player still won't work, try playing WHRB's stream on your computer. See "Listen on your computer" at the bottom of this page for download links. During peak programming, our AAC+ stream generally offers the most open capacity and the highest availale quality. If you've tried all of these options and still can't get the streams to work, please contact us at mail@whrb.org.
Q: Why are there multiple stream options? Which stream has the best quality?
A: The low mp3 stream is intended for listeners with low bandwidth internet connections. The high mp3 stream offers a higher audio quality roughly equivalent to an FM-radio. The AAC+ audio stream offers the best audio quality at half the bit rate of the high mp3 stream due to more advanced audio encoding, but cannot be streamed through an in-browser flash player.
Q: How can I listen on my mobile device?
A: The WHRB iPhone app allows users to listen to the low stream on their phone.

You can also listen on these other iOS apps and choose which stream to play: Android users can download TuneIn Radio from the Google Play store.
