WHRB App Privacy Policy

Last updated October 8, 2026

This policy covers the WHRB app for iPhone and iPad, published by Harvard Radio Broadcasting Co., Inc. ("WHRB"). It does not cover the whrb.org website, which has its own privacy practices.

Information we collect

The WHRB app does not collect personal information. It has no accounts or sign-in, and it contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not sell or share data about you, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How the app works

To play the live stream, broadcast archive, playlist, and program guide, the app loads them from WHRB's servers (api.whrb.org, stream.whrb.org, and www.whrb.org). As with any internet request, those servers receive standard technical information such as your IP address and device type. We use this information only to deliver the content you ask for and to keep our service running, and we do not use it to identify you.

Information stored on your device

The app may save a small number of settings on your device. These settings stay on your device and are never sent to WHRB.

Links to other sites

The app includes links to whrb.org, which open in your web browser. The website uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which are governed by the website's practices and Google's privacy policy rather than by this policy.

Children's privacy

Because the app does not collect personal information, it does not collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
