Here, Mather talks about this year’s July 4th program, how his interest in American classical music began, and how this broadcast became a tradition nineteen years ago.

A Tribute to WHRB's David Elliott

Aaron Fogelson, former president of WHRB, writes a tribute to David Elliott, a monumental force behind WHRB's success over the last 58 years. Elliott joined WHRB as an undergraduate in 1960 and became a beloved presence at the station ever since. Aaron Fogelson will also be broadcasting a live seven hour tribute to David Elliott on May 18th, 2019, from 1-8pm.
